The church of Christ Ludington was formerly known as the James Street church of Christ located at 219 S. James Street, Ludington, MI. right smack dab downtown, in a store front. That congregation started in November 2007 with eight members. The Lord has blessed our efforts and added to the church. We have baptized over 100 souls into Christ in the last few years.
Because of our growth it was necessary that we obtain a bigger meeting place. So In November 2015 we moved into our new location at 3816 W Fountain Road, Ludington, MI. 49431. It is just a few miles north of downtown and is in a beautiful country setting. This new building was formerly the Sacred Heart Catholic church building. It consists of three main buildings; a home, a hall, and a meeting house (church building). It is on two acres with paved lighted parking.
We are a faithful congregation dedicated to serving the Lord in spirit and in truth (Jn4:24). We would love to meet you and talk about the Lord and His church. Feel free to visit with us any time or call anytime. We are here to serve, always trusting in God’s word and His providence.
Come on out and visit with us and you will be glad you did. You will find Bible preaching and teaching. A group of Christians devoted to the word of God. A people seeking to please the Lord first in all ways. A people that respects context and only wants to be honest and real, doing Bible things in Bible ways and calling Bible things by Bible names. Truly a congregation committed to Love putting the Lord first and neighbor second.
We are NOT entertainment driven, we are NOT driven by traditions of men, we are NOT driven by politics, we are NOT driven by popular vote, We ARE driven by a “thus sayeth the Lord.”
Our congregation consists of about 50 members at this time. We have a diversity of cultural and societal peoples among us. Everyone is welcome and invited to visit, study, and worship with us. In fact we look forward to meeting you and getting to know you better!
